Inspired by my sister-in-law, who walks seven(!) miles a day, I got dressed before breakfast and headed down the road. I didn’t manage even the one mile I was hoping for, because my shoes were uncomfortable and the jacket I foolishly chose after seeing the temperature displayed on my computer screen was too hot. I walked to the top of the hill on our road (about halfway to the end I was hoping to reach) and turned back. Maybe I’ll try again later, putting a bit more thought into what I wear. I did, however get a few shots of spring’s emergence in the rain.
