Ten Years or Ten Minutes?

I got out of bed earlier than I normally do and was taken by the morning light in the kitchen and family room. Before pouring my first cup of coffee, I got out my camera.

The What If? Book of Questions by Miggs Burroughs is one of those strange little books I recently acquired because of a review left on a different book. I dip into it every every day or two, reading and answering the next question in line. Today’s was especially good: “What if, ten years from now, you’re granted a wish to be ten years younger? How desirable would this age be now?

Where were you ten years ago? How dissatisfied with life were you? What kind of foolishness held you by the throat and kept you plugging away for—what, exactly? Where has it gotten you? Were you living in the present then? Have you been meeting the moment? If not then, now? If not then, when?
