Life seems to be just a little better when I make time for art play and experimentation each day. Yesterday and this morning, I hauled a few supplies and Abstract Painting: The Elements of Visual Language by Jane Davies to my Reading Nest, along with my usual piles and baskets of books, pens, and journals.
The quote on the first piece comes from Hamlet: “Lord, we know what we are, but know not what we may be.” I wish more people would keep that in mind.
Both pages feature elements made with paint pens and glitter brush pens, but I switched to colored pencils while working on the second. The colors were chosen at random and added between books read.
